Navigating relationships, work and life can present challenges and difficulties.  At times life brings us a welcome possibility:  the chance to renew ourselves and grow or to create a fresh route to success.  At other times a circumstance or change appears as an obstacle--a painful loss or the knowledge that doing the same thing we did in the past is no longer working.

Change is inevitably accompanied by uncertainty, stress, opportunity and even excitement.  I assist people in resolving difficulties and enhancing their relationships--finding resilience along the way.  My approach is collaborative and client centered.  As clients address challenges and change, I help them discover wider perspectives and explore new choices.  To bring greater awareness of choices, I match my approach to the person I'm seeing.

I am a strengths based, solutions oriented marriage and family therapist with a strong clinical background and practical work and life experience.  I have extensive experience with family systems, cognitive behavioral approaches, mindful awareness, social psychology, brief solutions focused therapies, loss and grief processes and narrative psychology.  I work with clients throughout Marin County, Sonoma County, San Francisco and the East Bay. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-- MFC 29428.
